Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods (NBN) is a non-profit organization
We connect community leaders with the resources they need to become self-determined producers of sustainable community development. Our guiding principles are based on the asset-based community development framework. Our involvement with any project or collaboration in our city focuses on bringing residents to the places where discussions and decisions are being made or processed for implementation.
Investing in Neighborhoods
Advocating for health, safety, learning, prosperity and justice must be rooted in the community level, in our neighborhoods. Neighborhoods are fueled by people, and it’s people working together who ultimately make changes in our communities, our nation and our world. NBN is committed to being a catalyst for empowered neighbors and neighborhoods.
Building a Sustainable Community
Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods equips Winston-Salem community leaders to become producers of sustainable community development. We use the asset-based community development framework to bring residents to the table to have a voice in decisions that impact their communities and our city.
